Niebaum Pennino was created in admiration of Francis Coppola’s maternal grandfather and namesake, the musician and composer Francesco Pennino.

Explore the rich flavors from the renowned Rutherford bench, to the sun-kissed vineyards of Puglia, Italy, where we source our Niebaum Pennino varietals.

A Fragrance Assails Us, The Aroma Of Wine.

Niebaum Pennino features a selection of sustainably cultivated wines sourced from organically farmed vineyards. Created with a harmony of tradition and innovation, they interpret the distinctiveness of what Italians call la materia prima or “the primal source”.

Inspired by his innovative mind, Gustave Niebaum dug a small cave in the heart of the famed Rutherford region in 1882 to learn about wine aging and temperature ideals.  Today his tradition endures as Niebaum Pennino continues to experiment because we still prefer to know rather than to wonder.
